Chicago Pretzels, (Formerly Bakery Werks, LLC) was founded in 2005 by Debra Krause, now our executive bakery chef! Our German Bavarian preztels and breads are made with the finest all natural ingredients, hand rolled and shaped, then baked to perfection. Our gourmet style pretzels are served at various chicagoland events, for all occasions.
Specialty baking and creative design allows Debi to draw on her professional experiences and her personality to create her line of handmade baked goods and confections which raises the bar for a “taste-experience” unlike anything found in the world of mass-produced breads,treats and sweets. Enthusiasm, excitement and passion have kept Debi determined in her quest to brand her distinctive line of sophisticated products. Her clients are those who have evolved beyond the traditional “store-bought goods” and embrace her quality products with an all around zest for the best!
In early April 2011, Chicago Pretzels (formerly Bakery Werks LLC), restructered their business. Adding to the already highly motivated and successful team, are Michael Krause and Desiree Hendricks. All partners come from a diverse business background including, but not limited to, Restaurant Management, Sales, and Marketing.
